Sculptra is a popular collagen-stimulating treatment, developed by Galderma, to help stimulate collagen growth and restore facial volume with natural and long-lasting results in up to 2 years. The injectable filler uses Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) to rebuild collagen in order to support the skin structure and functions of elastin and hyaluronic acid, which leaves the skin smooth and hydrated while maintaining the skin’s shape and volume. Sculptra is a non-permanent, but long-lasting filler that works within the deep layers of the skin and can be used to correct deep smile lines and other facial wrinkles.
