Technique & protocol for Density PRP Tubes 9ml - with anticoagulant:
This method follows the standard PRP protocol and is identical to the usage of the PRP tubes with melatonin.
- For preparation with anticoagulants, the dosage varies depending on whether Heparin or Citrate is used
- Draw 8–9 ml of venous blood directly into the pre-treated tube
- Place the tube in the centrifuge and spin for 7 minutes at 1200 RCF (g)
- The result will be approximately 4–5 ml of PRP
- Inject immediately after centrifugation (e.g., in aesthetic or hair regeneration therapy)
Technique & protocol for Density PRF Tubes 9ml - without anticoagulant:
This method uses the body’s natural blood coagulation to form a fibrin matrix (PRF). It is ideal for surgical applications like implantology, socket preservation, and periodontal regeneration.
- For blood collection, draw 8–9 ml of venous blood directly into the untreated tube
- Centrifugation must start within 60 seconds after blood collection, and it is important not to shake the tube, as natural coagulation is desired
- Place the tube in the centrifuge and apply the Low-Speed Concept based on the selected protocol:
- A-PRF+: Place the tube in the centrifuge and spin for 8 minutes at 1300 rpm to obtain a highly polymerized fibrin matrix (membrane or plug)
- i-PRF: Place the tube in the centrifuge and spin for 3–4 minutes (women/men) at 700 rpm. Use the collected PRF within 15 minutes after centrifugation
Precautions:
- For professional use only
- Always use freshly prepared PRP/PRF – do not store or freeze
- Do not use in patients with: active infections, uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune diseases and malignant lesions at the application site
Updated protocol: March 2026.
